Founded by a Columbia University graduate, our company provides premium educational services in a highly effective, personalized manner to help students of mathematics. We pride ourselves on making the math learning process efficient, affordable, and accessible to students and their families by utilizing recent advances in Internet technology.
Our Products
We have invested a significant amount of time, effort, and money to ensure that our website and its services offer supreme value to our student community. Our self-study test prep courses allow students to watch an audiovisual instructional presentation of mathematical topics, followed by a series of problems and solutions. The solutions are narrated and animated, in such a way that is comparable to watching a live tutor solve problems on a blackboard but at a fraction of the cost of a private, in-person tutor. Our online tutoring service provides students with a tutor that is focused solely on helping that student achieve comprehension of math topics by reviewing concepts and problems in an interactive, online classroom. Our homework help service provides explanations to mathematical problems via e-mail or telephone in a problem-centric manner that is more focused than a traditional tutoring environment.
Our Team
Our tutors are expert math instructors who have earned graduate degrees in such fields as engineering, mathematics, and finance. Each of our instructors have had significant experience working with students in a one-on-one environment as well as in a group setting. As a result, our instructors are uniquely equipped to motivate students of mathematics. Our team also consists of hard-working engineers, web designers, and course developers, who have demonstrated a high-level proficiency in their respective fields. The company is headquartered in central New Jersey, but we have a network of employees, partners, and affiliates that span the country.
Our Philosophy
There are actually three different learning styles, and we have designed our products and services in a way to maximize the effectiveness of the learning process. These styles include visual, auditory, and kinesthetic, and our test prep products incorporate each of these learning styles.
Visual learners benefit by watching an instructor explain mathematical concepts and by watching an instructor solve problems. Auditory learners benefit by hearing an instructor verbally communicate mathematical concepts and problem solutions. Kinesthetic learners benefit by actually writing out a solution on their own, which can then be compared to the instructor’s solution. Our test prep products include animated and narrated problem solutions, which when combined with having the student work on problems on his/her own, effectively incorporate each of the three learning styles. By taking into account each of the learning styles, our products and services are uniquely designed to successfully engage the student in the learning process.
